We have been building and designing homes since 1986 and believe recommendations are better when they come from our customers. We want to encourage you to tour our show home or visit some of the homes we have built for other customers and talk with them about the efficiency and quality of our homes.

What is Right for You:
We specialize in homes that have a rustic charm with open living areas and vaulted ceilings. But mostly we are interested in helping you get the home of your dreams. That is why we offer a selection of different styles and sidings for you to choose from. We have experience in most all basic types of Home Construction, including Brick, Concrete Sidings and almost every type of wood siding including Cedar, Cypress, Pine and Imitation Log Siding.
Log Homes:
At Harris Log and Country Homes, we have built approximately 100 Log Homes and are convinced that they are one of the best alternatives to conventional housing, if they are built properly.
On our price sheets you will find pricing for Log Homes constructed with our most popular 5 ½” x 7½” D-shaped Logs that are primarily cut from dead-standing Engelmann Spruce and Lodge Pole Pine that grow at altitudes of 10,000 feet in the Rocky Mountains. Most of these trees have been dead for several years, drying slowly in the arid mountain climate. This long drying process gives the logs cut from these trees a stability that you can’t get from most solid logs that are only dried in a kiln in a matter of days. These logs are inspected and graded by a third-party certified grader that is recognized by the Log Homes Council.
